What is the Toys-For-Tots program, and how can I get involved?
The Toys-For-Tots program is a U.S. Marine Corps Reserve-led initiative aimed at collecting new, unwrapped toys during October, November, and December each year, and distributing those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community. The program's goal is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, and patriotic citizens.
To get involved with the Toys-For-Tots program through the Royal Gorge Marine Corps League Detachment, individuals can participate in several ways:
- Donate Toys
- Monetary Donations
- Volunteer
- Host a Toy Drive
For more information on how to get involved, you can visit the official Toys-For-Tots website or contact the Royal Gorge Detachment directly for local campaign details.
